Itโs already January. Weโre underway.
Last year, we brought feminists together for an Inclusive March 8 for the fourth time, and took the initiative for a joint declaration for an inclusive feminism together with nearly 30 organizations and academic communities. This forms an important foundation for the work that lies ahead.
In 2026, we will build on this. That means being clear about what kind of feminist community we want.
We want a feminism that stands firm when marginalized groups are attacked. One that refuses to be divided by false divisions between womenโs rights and the place of minority groups in society. One that understands that all forms of prejudice and hatred grow out of the same oppressive structures โ and must be confronted together.
This year, we will:
- strengthen inclusive feminist communities where more people can participate, organize, and be heard
- continue building broad alliances among activists, organizations, and academic communities
- take a clear stand against reactionary and authoritarian attacks on equality, diversity, and human rights
2026 will be a year of trial for democracy, at home and abroad. That is why, more than ever, we need a compassionate feminism with room for everyone.
